With the aim to enhance adult lifelong learning and labour market skills by integrating blockchain technology into educational frameworks. Specifically, BlockchainED will empower adult learners and adult educators to upskill their pathways in the direction of blockchain skills. It will do so, by implementing diverse activities including the creation of a scrutiny panel that ensure project’s quality, the development and dissemination of the Adult Educators eToolkit to equip instructors, the establishment of the BlockchainED Hub fostering an inclusive learning environment, the generation of 25 video-educational narratives, training sessions for enhancing blockchain technology skills, and hosting 1-week camps for immersive learning experiences.
OBJECTIVES
Individuals with limited or no knowledge in digital transformation and blockchain, possessing a minimum of 5 years of experience in adult training and the ability to apply adult training principles and pedagogies.
Consisting of blockchain and digital transformation experts, adult educators, and adult learners. This panel, established for co-creation purposes, engages participants in project actions from early stages, implementing participatory action research methodology for co-creating BlockchainED project activities.
Including adults from migrant backgrounds, residing in remote or rural areas with limited access to upskilling opportunities, or those at risk of marginalization due to a lack of skills, knowledge, and competences.
Professionals working in both academia and industry specializing in digital technologies and blockchain. They will be part of the BlockchainED Scrutiny Panel, ensuring quality assurance of results, validating deliverables, and participating in national BlockchainED camps.
Networks, organizations, and experts at national and EU levels involved in fintech, blockchain, technology, crypto industry, finance associations, higher education institutes, adult lifelong learning centers, civil society organizations (CSOs), policy-makers, ministries, and local authorities. These stakeholders play a role in maximizing the long-term added value of the project at local, regional, national, and European levels.
